  3. It went through the floor, and through the ground, and kept going down.

  4. The mountain sat up. It was furious, and it had no idea why. That is the worst kind.

  5. “Sorry,” shouted Theo. The mountain could not hear over itself.

  6. It answered with rocks. Quite a lot of rocks.

  7. So Theo put both hands on it and tried to hold a mountain still.

  8. The mountain shrugged. Theo landed a long way away.

  9. Then Theo screamed back. Now there were two of them screaming, and everything was worse.

  10. You cannot out-stomp a mountain. Theo sat down in the dust and worked out what you *can* do.
